P28A7Cylinder 6 Ion Current Sense Circuit High

P28A7 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the ion current sense circuit for cylinder number 6. The ion current sensing system monitors the electrical conductivity of the combustion gases immediately after the spark event to assess combustion quality, and a high voltage reading suggests an open circuit, a short to voltage, or a faulty sensor interface.
