P27C4Pressure Control Solenoid P Intermittent

P27C4 indicates that the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an intermittent fault in the circuit for pressure control solenoid 'P', which is one of the solenoids that regulates hydraulic pressure inside the automatic transmission. The TCM monitors the solenoid's electrical current and response, and when the signal drops out or behaves erratically for a fraction of a second, it stores this code and may illuminate the warning light.
