P2721Pressure Control Solenoid 'D' Control Circuit High

P2721 means the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for pressure control solenoid 'D', which is one of the hydraulic pressure regulators inside the automatic transmission. The TCM commands a specific current to the solenoid and monitors the return voltage; when that voltage stays above the expected range, the circuit is considered high and the code is stored.
