P26EEEngine Sound Control B Circuit High

P26EE means the engine control module (ECM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the engine sound control actuator, which is the device that generates or cancels intake or exhaust noise in the cabin. The ECM commands a duty cycle or voltage to the actuator and monitors the return signal; a high reading tells it the circuit is open, shorted to power, or the actuator is not responding as expected.
