DTC codes / P26xx · Computer and output circuits / P26DD
P26DD means the engine control module (ECM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the engine sound control actuator, which is the device that actively shapes or enhances intake and exhaust sound in the cabin. The ECM commands a specific output on that circuit and monitors the return voltage; when the voltage stays above the expected threshold for the commanded state, it flags the circuit as high.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
