P26BFEngine Coolant Bypass Valve D Control Circuit High

P26BF means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the engine coolant bypass valve D, which is a valve that routes coolant around the radiator to speed warm-up. The PCM commands the valve by pulling the circuit to ground, and a high voltage reading tells the module that the circuit is open, shorted to power, or that the valve's internal coil has failed.
