P260CPTO Control Circuit High

P260C indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the power take-off (PTO) control circuit, which is used to engage or disengage auxiliary equipment such as a hydraulic pump or winch. The PCM commands the PTO circuit on or off and monitors the voltage on the control wire; a high voltage reading means the circuit is seeing voltage when it should not, often due to a short to power or an open ground.
