P2596Turbocharger Speed Sensor B Circuit High

P2596 means the engine computer has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit for turbocharger speed sensor B, which is the sensor that reports how fast the turbocharger shaft is spinning. The computer expects a voltage within a calibrated range, and a reading above that range tells it the circuit is open, shorted to power, or the sensor is not reporting a valid speed signal.
