P246BVehicle Conditions Incorrect for Particulate Filter Regeneration

P246B means the engine computer has determined that the vehicle's operating conditions are not suitable for a diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration, so it has postponed the process. The computer monitors parameters such as exhaust temperature, engine load, vehicle speed, and soot loading, and when they fall outside the allowed window it stores this code to explain why regeneration has not occurred.
