P2450EVAP System Switching Valve Performance/Stuck

P2450 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a performance fault in the evaporative emission (EVAP) system's switching valve, which is responsible for routing fuel vapor between the fuel tank and the charcoal canister. The computer monitors the valve's response during commanded changes and sets this code when the valve fails to switch, sticks open or closed, or does not produce the expected pressure or flow change within a calibrated time window.
