P2406Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Sense Circuit High

P2406 means the engine computer has detected an abnormally high voltage on the sense circuit that monitors the evaporative emission leak detection pump. The computer expects a voltage within a specific range as the pump runs and seals the system, and a reading above that range tells it the circuit is open, shorted to voltage, or the pump's internal sensor has failed.
