P23AATurbocharger Bypass Valve A Stuck

P23AA means the engine computer has commanded the turbocharger bypass valve (often called a diverter or recirculation valve) to move, but the valve position sensor or feedback circuit indicates it is stuck and not responding. The computer detects this by comparing the commanded valve position with the actual position reported by the valve's integrated sensor, and it sets the code when the two disagree beyond a calibrated threshold for a set time.
