P2380Wait to Start Lamp Control Circuit

P2380 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a fault in the wait-to-start lamp control circuit, which is the indicator that tells the driver when the glow plugs have heated enough for a diesel engine to start. The PCM monitors the circuit for expected voltage or current and sets this code when the signal is out of range, either open, shorted, or otherwise not responding as commanded.
