DTC codes / P22xx · Fuel and air metering (injector circuits) / P22CC
P22CC indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the control circuit for the turbocharger compressor outlet switching valve, which is used to manage boost pressure and prevent compressor surge. The circuit is typically ground-switched, so a high voltage reading means the PCM sees an open circuit, a short to voltage, or a faulty valve that is not drawing the expected current.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
