P22B2O2 Sensor Negative Current Control Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

P22B2 indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected an open circuit or abnormal condition in the negative current control circuit for the downstream oxygen sensor on bank 1, which is sensor 2 after the catalytic converter. The ECM monitors this circuit to ensure the sensor's heater and signal return path are functioning correctly, and it sets the code when the expected current flow is absent or out of range.
