P2291Injector Control Pressure Too Low - Engine Cranking

P2291 means the engine computer commanded a certain fuel pressure in the injector rail during cranking but the pressure sensor reported a value that stayed too low. The powertrain control module (PCM) sets this code when the actual injector control pressure does not rise to the expected threshold while the starter is turning the engine.
