P227DBarometric Pressure Sensor C Circuit High

P227D indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an abnormally high voltage on the electrical circuit for Barometric Pressure Sensor C, which is one of the pressure sensors the engine uses to determine ambient air pressure. The computer expects the sensor signal voltage to stay within a calibrated range, and a sustained high reading tells it the circuit is either shorted to voltage, open, or the sensor itself has failed.
