DTC codes / P20xx · Fuel and air metering and auxiliary emission controls / P2092
P2092 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally low voltage on the control circuit for the bank 2 'A' camshaft position actuator, which is the solenoid that adjusts camshaft timing on that cylinder bank. The PCM commands a duty cycle to move the actuator, and when the feedback or circuit voltage falls below the expected threshold, it sets this code and may disable variable valve timing.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
