DTC codes / P0Exx · Hybrid propulsion / P0EB7
The P0EB7 code indicates that the powertrain control module has detected an abnormally high current reading from the phase U current sensor circuit of the air conditioning compressor motor. This sensor monitors the electrical current flowing through one phase of the compressor's three-phase motor, and a high signal suggests a short circuit, excessive current draw, or a faulty sensor circuit.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
