DTC codes / P0Cxx · Hybrid propulsion / P0CBE
P0CBE means the hybrid or electric vehicle control module has detected an abnormally low voltage signal from the coolant temperature sensor that monitors Drive Motor A, which is the primary traction motor. The sensor circuit is expected to produce a voltage that rises and falls with temperature, and a low reading tells the computer the motor coolant is far colder than it actually is or that the circuit is shorted to ground.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
