P0C77Hybrid/EV Battery System Precharge Time Too Short

P0C77 means the hybrid or electric vehicle's battery management system commanded the high-voltage precharge circuit to close and bring the inverter bus up to pack voltage, but the bus reached its target faster than the expected precharge time window. The computer interprets this abnormally quick rise as a precharge resistor that is not limiting current as designed, or a circuit that is bypassing the resistor entirely.
