P0B18 means the hybrid or electric vehicle battery pack monitoring system has detected an intermittent or erratic voltage signal from the 'B' voltage sense circuit, which is one of several redundant channels used to measure the high-voltage battery. The computer sets this code when the signal from that specific sense line jumps, drops out, or behaves inconsistently rather than reading a steady, plausible voltage.
