DTC codes / P0Axx · Hybrid propulsion / P0AAD
P0AAD means the hybrid or electric vehicle battery pack's air temperature sensor A is reporting a voltage or signal that falls outside the range the control module expects for the current operating conditions. The battery energy control module compares that reading against other temperature sensors and its own models, and it sets this code when the signal is erratic, stuck, or implausible rather than simply open or shorted.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
