DTC codes / P0Axx · Hybrid propulsion / P0A03
P0A03 indicates that the motor electronics coolant temperature sensor circuit is reporting a voltage higher than the expected range, which the control module interprets as an excessively high temperature reading or an open circuit. The computer has detected a signal voltage that remains above the calibrated threshold for the given operating conditions, often indicating a wiring fault, a failed sensor, or a problem with the sensor's ground reference.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
