P0936Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit Intermittent

P0936 means the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an intermittent fault in the electrical circuit of the hydraulic pressure sensor, which monitors the pressure of the transmission fluid used to apply clutches and bands. The computer sees the sensor signal drop out or jump erratically for brief moments, rather than failing completely, so the code is stored when the fault repeats often enough to be confirmed.
