P06B2 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the Sensor Power Supply A circuit, which is a dedicated 5-volt reference feed shared by multiple sensors such as the throttle position, accelerator pedal, and manifold absolute pressure sensors. The PCM monitors this supply line and sets the code when the voltage exceeds the expected range, typically because the circuit is shorted to voltage or a sensor on the shared line is internally pulling the reference too high.
Guidance is general and written for all OBD-II vehicles. Exact tests and values vary by model, so confirm the fault before replacing parts.
