P0663Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit/Open (Bank 2)

P0663 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an open circuit or excessive resistance in the control circuit for the bank 2 intake manifold tuning valve (IMTV). The IMTV is used on some engines to change the effective intake runner length or volume, improving low-end torque and high-rpm power, and the PCM monitors the circuit for expected voltage or current when commanding the valve. When the circuit is open, the PCM cannot control the valve and sets this code.
