P0454Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Intermittent

P0454 means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an intermittent or erratic signal from the evaporative emission (EVAP) system pressure sensor or switch. The computer expects a steady, plausible voltage or pressure reading during the EVAP monitor, but the signal drops out, spikes, or jumps around outside the normal range for a calibrated period. This code is stored when the fault is not constant, making it a challenge to catch during a quick scan.
