P03D1 indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormal electrical condition on the circuit for the cylinder 7 pressure sensor, which is used on engines with cylinder pressure monitoring for combustion feedback. The PCM monitors the sensor signal voltage and sets this code when the voltage falls outside the expected range or the circuit has an open, short, or excessive resistance.
