P0358Ignition Coil 'H' Primary/Secondary Circuit

P0358 is a generic powertrain code that the engine computer sets when it detects an abnormal electrical condition in the primary or secondary circuit of ignition coil 'H', which is the eighth coil in the manufacturer's firing order or cylinder labeling. The computer monitors coil dwell and current ramping on the primary side and can infer secondary circuit integrity from the primary feedback, so it flags this code when the expected voltage or current signature falls outside the calibrated window.
