P0242Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor 'B' Circuit High

P0242 means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit for the 'B' turbocharger or supercharger boost pressure sensor. The PCM expects the sensor's output to stay within a calibrated range, and a sustained high reading indicates a short to voltage, an open ground, or a sensor that is no longer reporting accurately.
