P0195Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

P0195 means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a fault in the engine oil temperature sensor circuit, so the signal it receives is outside the expected range for the current operating conditions. The PCM compares the oil temperature sensor voltage to a calculated model and sets this code when the reading is implausibly high, low, or intermittent.
