P1345 · MazdaNo CMP or SGC Signal

P1345 on Mazda vehicles means the powertrain control module (PCM) has lost the signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor or the signal from the crankshaft position sensor, which Mazda refers to as the SGC signal. The PCM sets this code when it cannot see a reliable cam or crank reference pulse while the engine is running, so it cannot accurately sequence fuel injection and ignition timing.
