P1572 · GMASR Active Circuit Low Too Long

P1572 on a GM vehicle means the electronic brake control module (EBCM) has detected that the traction control active circuit is stuck low for longer than expected, which usually points to a short to ground in the circuit or a failed component. The computer monitors the voltage on the circuit that commands the traction control system to engage and flags the code when that voltage stays near zero volts for an extended period.
