P1394 · GMWheel Speed Sensor 1 G-Sensor Circuit Intermittent

P1394 on a GM vehicle means the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an intermittent fault in the circuit that carries the wheel speed signal from the right front wheel speed sensor to the electronic brake control module (EBCM). The PCM monitors this signal through the serial data line and flags the code when the signal drops out or becomes erratic for a fraction of a second, often without storing a hard failure.
