P1567 · FordSpeed Control Output Circuit Continuity

P1567 on Ford vehicles indicates that the speed control servo, which is the cruise control actuator, has detected an open or shorted condition in its output circuit continuity. The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the electrical path between the servo and the throttle actuator, and it sets this code when the expected continuity is missing or out of range. This fault prevents the cruise control system from engaging or maintaining speed.
