P1410 · FordEGR Barometric Pressure Sensor VREF Voltage

P1410 on Ford vehicles indicates that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an out-of-range voltage on the reference voltage (VREF) circuit that feeds the EGR barometric pressure sensor. The PCM monitors this 5-volt reference line and sets the code when the signal falls outside the expected operating window, which can be caused by a wiring fault, a failed sensor, or a problem inside the PCM itself.
