B0005Driver Frontal Deployment Loop Open

B0005 means the airbag control module has detected an open circuit in the driver's frontal airbag deployment loop, which is the wiring path that fires the steering-wheel airbag. The module monitors the loop's resistance and sets this code when the circuit reads outside its expected range, so the driver's airbag may not deploy in a crash.
