It supports fast charging at up to 200 kW, which means it can replenish up to 80 percent of its battery in less than 20 minutes.
The Polestar 4 also offers a premium and futuristic interior, with a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Android Automotive OS, which includes Google Assistant, Maps, and Play apps. The interior also features a mono-material approach, with layered components made of the same material for easier recycling. The materials include recycled polyester knit textile, MicroTech vinyl, and animal welfare secured Nappa leather.
The Polestar 4 also comes with a number of advanced safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, pedestrian airbag system, and blind spot monitoring.
The Polestar 4 is expected to go on sale in the United States in late 2024, with a starting price of around $60,000. It will compete with other electric SUVs such as the Audi Q8 e-tron, the Tesla Model Y, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
